Our Priorities
Driven by passion and grounded by values, at Launch2Learning our aim is to support young people rebuild their confidence in education and work with them to rediscover their passion for learning.
Our holistic approach aims to empower students both academically and emotionally.
What To Expect
We work closely with parents, carers and the young people to understand their individual needs and agree on the best approach together. By listening to everyone’s views, we can create a plan that gives the young person the greatest opportunity to succeed.
Our team takes the time to build positive relationships with each young person and get to know them as a unique individual. We know that when a young person feels understood and valued, they are more likely to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Our Induction Process
At Launch2Learning, we understand that every young person works at their own pace. Our generically designed induction process below is flexible and can be tailored to every student to ensure they feel ready and comfortable to increase their time here with us.
Week 1
Session 1 - 20 minute visit with student and parent/carer with a representative from school if available.
The remaining sessions in week 1 will be 1-hour sessions. The parent/carer can attend all or part of the first 1-hour session is necessary.
Week 2
All sessions in week 2 will be aimed at 2-hour sessions.
Week 3
From week 3 onwards, all sessions will be aimed at the full 3-hour sessions.
Communication
One of our most important factors in our students’ success is our bespoke, individual and flexible approach. This means that your input, as a parents/carer, is hugely helpful to us.
You know your child better than we do and we will always aim to have a positive relationship with you to help us to do what is best for your child.
If you have any concerns, updates or suggestions about your child’s education, please do not hesitate to contact us. Equally, we will let you know if we have anything that we feel is important for you to be aware of.
Expectations In Our Centres
We have high expectations of standards of behaviour in our centres. At Launch2Learning, we are proud of our culture of kindness, respect and tolerance. We always aim to look after our staff, students and the people who are important to them, so we ask that our students and parent/carers treat us with the same respect.

Yes. Most of our centres are in remote locations where there is little access to shops/cafes. As such, you will need to bring lunch or snacks with you if you think you will need them during your session. All of our centres have tea/coffee-making equipment so we can provide hot drinks. We kindly ask that you do not bring fizzy drinks into the centres.

We want you to feel comfortable at Launch2Learning and so you are welcome to wear what you would like. Many of our students attend their sessions wearing jeans or sweatpants. We like to suggest that it is something practical as we often like to go for walks and play games, but that is up to you.

Just ask! Our tutors are all very aware of the fact that our students need regular breaks. If you’re getting tired or fed up, tell your tutor and they will give you a chance to have a breather - either outside or in the centre.

At Launch2Learning, we know that not every day is a good day. If you are not feeling good (physically or mentally), please just let us know. This means that we can adjust what we’re doing to suit how you’re feeling. If you need more breaks, a quiet space or just someone to talk to, we can make sure that you have what you need.

This very much depends on the centre and the day. Most of our centres (except Maud Heath) have a maximum of 5 students in at a time. This means that these centres will have up to 11 people in them at a time (5 students, 5 teachers and a Centre Manager).
In Maud Heath, however, we can have up to 10 students in at a time. This means that there could be up to 21 people in the centre when you are there, spread across several rooms (10 students, 10 teachers and a Centre Manager).
