How Functional Skills Can Help Students

Functional Skills are widely accepted GCSE equivalent by employers and further education colleges, opening doors to students who aspire to progress into the world of work or additional studies.

They are also an accepted part of apprenticeship standards.

Exams can be taken at any time of year, whenever learners are ready.

Level 1 Award:

  • equivalent to GCSE Grade D to E (3 to 2)

Level 2 Award

  • equivalent to GCSE Grade A* to C (9 to 4)

What can Launch2Learning offer?

  • Exams can be taken in any our learning centres. Or we can help to organise in non-traditional exam environments such as community rooms or at students’ homes

  • Ongoing support and feedback for learners is provided

  • We carry out pre-assessments to ensure good pass rates
