Our Impact

We work together to make a real difference to the lives of young people.

Making A Difference

At Launch2Learning, we offer the support and stability to allow them to thrive in their next destination.

Making a difference and sharing the achievements and successes of our young people’s hard work and dedication is vital to allow them to develop and move forward with confidence in their talents and abilities.

Context Statements

At Launch2Learning, we try to gather as much information as we can for each young person to create targets best suited for each individual:

Attendance

38% of our students come to us from Local Authorities and have not been in school for an extended period of time (0% attendance upon entry).

62% of students attend from schools (25% average baseline attendance).

Behaviour

10% of our students come to us with significant social care involvement.

42% of our students have EHCPs.

Behaviour is tracked through behaviour logs completed after each session.

Engagement

We use student voice on entry to ascertain prior engagement/attitude to learning and continue to do this throughout their time with us.

After each session, our students give their feedback and the tutor gives their feedback on Attitude to Learning and Engagement.

Academic Achievements

National statistics on the attainment gap show that by Year 11, pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds were looking at an average of 2 years behind.

Upon entry, LA commissioners are unable to provide academic baselines due to long term non-attendance.

Destinations & Pathways

Destinations and pathways are ultimately the most important outcome for all our students.
